Why you need the 2382-22 18th Edition BS7671 Course?

Operatives working on or with voltages between 0-1000V AC is required to work competently to the BS7671. You must ensure that you are designing and installing to the latest regulations. Anyone looking to register with a competent persons scheme will need to prove they are up to date. The 2382-22 City and Guilds qualification ensures learners have sufficient knowledge of the wiring regulations, how to use and access the book and apply the regulations to the real world. The course is required by several of the UK’s Competency Schemes and over 98% of Employers. 

Entry Requirements

The qualification has no formal entry requirements, however we recommend that candidates have general knowledge of Electrical Installations. If you are new to the industry the 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations is the best starting point for those seeking a career as an Electrician. 
The 2382-22 is a QCF Level 3 it is possible to apply your ELC towards your training, please call for more details. 

Course Content

On this course the key to success is learning how to navigate and access the regulations. We use real world examples teaching you how to apply the knowledge found in the book to your career.
The course is assessed by one 2 hour multiple choice exam. This exam is broken down into the 8 sections below.

• The scope, object and fundamental principles 
• The definitions
• Assessment of the general characteristics 
• Requirements of protection for safety 
• Requirements for selection and erection of equipment 
• Requirements of inspection and testing 
• Requirements of special installations or locations as identified in BS 7671. 
• Information contained within the appendices of BS 7671. 

Learning options

The online course is delivered in a series of micro learning activities between 4-5 mins in length. The total course length is approximately 35 hours per candidate. Your knowledge will be assessed throughout the course ensuring that you fully understand how to navigate and interpret the BS7671. You will be able to complete three practice exams to help you prepare for the real exam. 
You are required to attend our Centre in Chilwell, Nottingham to complete the final examination. This can be booked on a weekend or a weekday.

Costs

Payment is required in full to secure your place. Payment includes all registration, examination and certification fees. (Exam Resits and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations book are not included). All final exams are held at our Nottingham Centre.
