The City & Guilds 2392-10 course is delivered over 4-days and is essential for Domestic Electrical Installers wishing to join a Competent Person Scheme, Electrical Contractors and those that are considering progression onto their full 3-phase Initial and Periodic Condition Reporting Qualification. Being new to inspection and testing of electrical installations can be daunting to many electrical operatives, as such this course has been designed to give the candidate both theory and hands on practical skills to safely carry out the testing on new domestic electrical installations that comply with BS7671.
Throughout your training you will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with various testing equipment, be able to competently complete a range of electrical test certificates and practice your skills in our fully equipped electrical testing facility. On completion of this course you will be able to competently inspect and test single phase domestic supplies and to issue electrical test certificates in accordance with BS7671.
You will also gain the essential skills and knowledge to progress onto either the Level 3 City & Guilds 2394/5 or EAL Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing and Condition Reporting of Electrical Installations allowing you to tests 3 phase commercial and industrial electrical installations.
