Training in Electrical is pleased to be able to offer the EAL Level 3 Award in the Principles, Practices and Legislation for the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Condition Reporting of Electrical Installations. This qualification is brand new and has been endorsed by Summit Skills and has been verified by Ofqual. This course is a direct alternative to the City & Guilds 2395 and is generally delivered over 3/4 days.
This qualification is aimed at practising electricians, or equivalent, who already have experience carrying out the process of Periodic Inspection, Testing and Condition Reporting as per the requirements of BS7671. It is also ideal for those candidates who have not carried out inspection and testing but want to enhance their careers and prospects.
On completion of this qualification you will be able to test and inspect domestic, commercial and industrial premises and also the inspection and testing of existing installations installed by other electrotechnical persons.
This qualification is ideal for existing electricians and those newly qualified who want to enhance their skills in this profitable area.
Its content covers the skills and necessary background knowledge for the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of electrical installations.
This electrical course includes both theory and more importantly hands on experience testing real life 3 phase installations at one of our training centres. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of different testers supplied by our test instrument sponsors, Megger, Fluke and Dilog.

This qualification is intended for electrical operative who have practical experience and knowledge of inspection & testing of electrical installations, who require to become certified. Candidates must also hold the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. It is not suitable for non-qualified electrician. Newly qualified electrical operatives or those with little or no inspection & testing experience should consider completing the City & Guilds 2392-10 inspection & testing qualification.
