City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings Experienced Worker Qualification (2347-03)

Price: £1800.00 (Inc. VAT & Certification Fees)
This qualification is designed for individuals working as electricians in domestic environments. It focuses on essential knowledge and practical abilities such as inspection and testing, fault finding and rectification, design and installation procedures, health and safety in a domestic environment.

Entry Criteria:

  • Candidates must be at least 19 years old
  • Minimum of three years hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) or an equivalent,
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and 2391-52 or equivalent.
  • Able to demonstrate technical skills and knowledge to current industry standards.

This course is not intended for newcomers to the electrical industry, apprentices, or individuals requiring foundational training. If you don’t possess any of the required qualifications please let us know as we’re able to load you onto other courses at our centre during the qualification ensuring you achieve the full criteria*. In all cases, the criteria must be completed before the final certification can be issued.

Progression and Recognition:

Upon successful completion of the qualification and the associated occupational skills assessment (AM2e) delivered by NET, candidates meet the criteria to apply for the ECS Gold Card through the JIB.

Fees and Payment Details:

Total Cost: £1800.00 (Incl VAT)

The payment structure is as follows:
  • Initial payment of £500.00 upon enrolment
  • Seven monthly instalments of £185.71
  • A signed agreement is required confirming responsibility for full payment (£1800 Incl VAT) even if you decide not to complete the qualification

Additional Costs:

The AM2e assessment is not included and is set at an external centre and must be arranged separately.

  • Online or phone induction with a Training In Electrical assessor
  • Registration with City & Guilds for the 2347-03 qualification
  • Portfolio creation supported by remote observation and professional discussion
  • Assessment and portfolio verification
  • Ongoing guidance and feedback
  • Final certification

Note: Extra visits to sites may incur additional charges.

Timeframe:

Candidates are expected to complete all assessments within 12 months of starting.
