To register on a Competent Person Scheme with NICEIC, ECA or NAPIT, you will need to develop your knowledge and skills and have an understanding of Domestic Wiring Systems along with a knowledge of the Building Regulations including Part P. This 5 day qualification has been designed by Logic Certification to assist you in achieving the standard expected in the electrical industry. This course is ideal if you wish to undertake domestic installation work and on completion of this it is recommended that you achieve the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course, you will then be able to register on a Competent Person Scheme and become a Domestic Electrical Installer.Throughout the duration of this course you will be continually assessed on your knowledge relating to basic electrical principles, domestic electrical systems,understanding the Building Regulations, and a basic overview of the Inspection and Testing of electrical installations.
If you would also like to ‘sign off’ your electrical work and to issue Electrical Test Certificates you will also be required to achieve the EAL Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations Course.
