If you are new to the electrical industry, looking to become a qualified electrician and want to work in domestic, commercial and industrial locations the City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation qualification is the recognised route.
The course has been designed for candidates wanting a viable entry route into the electrical industry. This qualification provides an understanding of electrical principles including AC theory, single phase and three phase power systems all to the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2008 (2018).
The course can be started at anytime from anywhere in UK or the countries which require British Standards. It is suitable for a complete beginner or for someone already in the industry but lacking the essential qualifications to progress. You have to be over the age of 18 to start this course, it is recommended that you have achieved Level 2 in English and Maths but this is not a requirement and the course can still be successfully completed without any prior qualifications.

To complete your exams and assessments and practice sessions you are required to visit our Nottingham centre between 3 to 4 times, if you are travelling from afar you can contact us to help you work out an arrangement to reduce your visits down to 1 or 2.
The exams are held on every Sunday and Tuesdays and the assessments are held generally once a month on weekdays or weekend. We also provide practice session before the actual assessment to enable you with the practical skills needed to work onsite competently. We expect learners to complete the course over a period of four to nine months, however we have learners who have completed the course within 3 months as well, your registration limit to complete the course is for two years.
